P0532: A/C refrigerant pressure sensor: low input
The ECU sees a voltage that is too low from the air conditioning pressure sensor. Usually a wire shorting to earth, the plug or the sensor.

What P0532 means
The ECU is getting a voltage from the A/C pressure sensor that is lower than it should ever be. It is nearly always an electrical fault, although a system with no refrigerant can also give a very low reading. While the code is active, the compressor will not switch on.
Most common causes
- Sensor plug loose, wet or corroded
- Signal or supply wire broken or shorting to earth
- Faulty pressure sensor
- System empty or very low on refrigerant due to a leak
- Another sensor sharing the 5 volt supply and pulling it down

- Engine warning light on
- Air conditioning not cooling
- Compressor never engages
Can you drive with P0532?
Yes, no rush It does not affect the engine or safety. You can drive normally, just without air conditioning.
How to check it
Check the live A/C pressure on your scan tool: if it reads zero or close to it with the engine off, first find out whether the system has any refrigerant. A garage can measure the real charge with gauges.
