U0141: Lost communication with body control module A
The network is not receiving messages from body control module A, one of the units running lights, locks and other equipment. Usually power or wiring.

What U0141 means
Some cars split body functions (lights, locks, wipers, windows) between several modules, labelled A, B and so on. What module A actually does is up to each manufacturer. This code means that module has stopped talking to the others over the data network.
Most common causes
- Low battery or loose terminals
- Blown fuse for the module
- Loose, corroded or damp connector on the module
- Poor ground on the module
- Damaged network wiring
- Faulty body control module A

- Lights, locks, wipers or windows not working
- Warning messages on the dashboard
- Remote key not responding
- On some cars, starting problems
